What We Are Looking For:

Persado is looking for a Senior Director, Sales based out of New York City. 

  • Build, lead and manage a team of Enterprise AE's, selling to Fortune 50-500 clients
  • Drive significant growth in new business
  • Manage complete sales-cycles from introductions to C-level executives to business case presentations
  • Define, execute, and own an engagement plan for key prospects
  • Develop and manage strong relationships within our Enterprise market segment, looking for opportunities to add value for the customer and develop additional revenue
  • Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement, while creating satisfied and referenceable customers

What We Want To See:

  • A minimum of a BA/BS degree with a concentration in Marketing or equivalent
  • 7-10 years digital experience in solution selling, management consulting or digital marketing
  • 3-5 years" sales management experience, ideally in marketing or related technology 
  • E-commerce experience a plus
  • Experienced in bringing innovative and market defining technologies to market
  • Sales experience closing transactions valued at $1mm or more
  • Analytical, with a good understanding of P&L
  • A history of net direct new business sales, with consistent delivered against targets

What Would Make You Stand Out Above the Rest:

  • You have sold business to consumer deals in the digital marketing or advertising space with experience in email marketing
  • Understanding of business & proven track record of managing high potential type-A individuals and challenging them to perform at a world-class level 
  • You have retail/e-commerce or travel/hospitality marketing experience
  • You have worked in a matrixed organization
  • Experience in developing relationships with C-level executives in key verticals
  • Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
